TechTrend Inc. Federal GovCloud has provided its (FGC) DevSecOps platform to the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Research and Development – Operating Environment (RD-OE) to support automation via continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices throughout the application lifecycle. CI/CD means changes made to an application are automatically bug and security-tested, improving visibility and feedback before the changes are deployed to production. Instead of taking weeks or months to deploy software changes to production in a traditional application lifecycle, CI/CD can significantly reduce time to develop, integrate, and deploy new capabilities securely.
FGC DevSecOps platform is a cloud-based SaaS offering that enables U.S. federal government agencies to work smarter to rapidly and securely develop and release solutions to meet ever-evolving business and public needs. It consists of a tightly integrated suite of CI/CD-related open source and commercially available tools that can automate the deployment of applications to multiple cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google, etc.). The next release of the platform will include additional widely used CI/CD tools to include artificial intelligence capability.
FedRAMP, authorized at the moderate impact level, allows federal organizations to inherit many security controls while avoiding the need to maintain a costly in-house solution.
