FAA taps Techtrend for Enhancing Engineering Efforts

September 19, 2013 – TechTrend has been awarded a prime contract to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Terminal Services and Terminal Field Operational Support’s (TFOS) systems engineering efforts.

TechTrend provides business/financial, analytical, engineering, and administrative support services to sustain and enhance Terminal systems engineering efforts.The FAA TFOS program supplies software (SW) and hardware (HW) engineering support for current and future FAA systems and programs, such as: NextGen, Terminal Automation Modernization Replacement (TAMR), Common Automated Radar Terminal System (CARTS), Automated Electronic Flight Strips (AEFS), Standard Terminal Automated Replacement Systems (STARS), Airport Runway Management Tool (ARMT), Count Operations (Count Ops), and Electronic Flight Strip Transfer System (EFSTS).
